Here are my four favourite Christmas gluten-free sweet treats to enjoy during the festive period. I hope you will be inspired to bake one or all of these recipes this Christmas.
Gluten-Free Linzer Biscuits
Linzer biscuits are an Austrian favourite. You’ll be surprised how little work goes into creating these cute and impressive biscuits. After a short bake, the hazelnut shortbread biscuits are sandwiched together with red currant jam.
Gluten-Free Gingerbread Cookies
This gingerbread recipe has been thoroughly tested for over 20 years. I converted it easily into a gluten-free recipe 6 years ago and nothing has changed in taste or texture, besides the removal of gluten.
Gluten-Free Speculaas Cookies
My favourite Dutch cookie! They are buttery, crisp and full of spice. Baking them will fill your home with that Christmas aroma.
Gluten-Free Stollen
Rich, fragrant and bursting with fruit, nuts and spice, my authentic gluten-free Stollen recipe has a balanced taste with distinct individual flavours of each ingredient. It is beautifully dusted with a think coat of icing sugar and simply decorated with red currents and oranges. A slice of buttered Stollen is perfect on Christmas morning.
